The speech therapist I wish I had
Moe Mernick
Uri is the speech therapist I wish I had. Having grown up with a debilitating stutter, I know what it's like to feel the disconnect between between dreams and abilities, between body and soul, and between a therapist who holistically cares me and one who simply doesn't. I wish I had known Uri when I was younger, to help me avoid many years of frustration and angst. But at least I got to know him three years ago, and I have been utilizing his expertise (both personally and professionally) ever since.
More confident and speaking beautifully today.
Valerie Piegare-Calabro
My family turned to Uri when we didn't see any improvement in my son's speech with other providers.
We saw improvements in his speech almost immediately.
I believe Uri is the reason my son is even more confident and is speaking beautifully today.
Thank you for everything, Uri!
Communication skills, confidence and attitude
Alexander Egbe
I am in a high-stress profession where stuttering/dysfluency is regarded as a lack of confidence, and where lack of confidence is a ‘kiss of death’.
My communication skills, confidence and attitude were completely transformed both in my professional and personal life. I highly recommend him.
Better treatment of this complicated and evolving disorder.
Laura Eyler, BSN, RN
Schneider Speech understands stuttering. Stuttering is a complex disorder and the quality of treatment from speech pathologists can vary significantly. Uri Schneider understands the larger picture that stuttering paints in their clients' lives. He is an advocate for those who stutter and constantly pushes to further his understanding towards better treatment of this complicated and evolving disorder. Their efforts and services are greatly appreciated.
I'm a better person (and person who stutters)
Justin Matley
Uri is intellectually grounded in his knowledge of techniques, but packages their practice in something truly unique in SLP-land: he truly cares.
As a person who stutters, I've had many experiences over the years with SLPs and have met none like Uri and Phil. I'm a better person (and person who stutters) for having met and worked with them both professionally and clinically.
